Fort Smith Historical Society

Calling all history supporters and citizens! The Fort Smith Historical Society has already begun work on its 50th Anniversary issue of The Journal. The organization is asking members, friends of the Society, and citizens to submit stories about the impact the Fort Smith Historical Society has had on them. This can include accounts of personal interactions with the organization and its members, past and present. Letters, papers, photos, and other remembrances that highlight history of the Fort Smith area are also welcome. These will be collected and considered for print in the special edition of the award-winning publication in 2027.
