The Fort Smith Historical Society is officially moving its monthly meeting date!
At its November meeting, FSHS members voted to change the regular meeting date beginning in January 2025. Meetings will now be held on the third Tuesday of each month.
The Club’s meeting location will remain the same. FSHS will continue to be held in the Community Room at the Fort Smith Public Library’s Main Branch on Rogers Avenue.
Meetings will begin at 6 PM. Doors will open at 5:30 PM. Light snacks will be served.
The first meeting of the new year will be held January 21. It will be a business meeting. Along with other important business to be discussed, nominations for the 2025 year will be taken and voted on at this meeting. Officers will be installed at the Society’s March business meeting.
History Lovers, students, and non-members are welcome to attend FSHS meetings. There is no cost to attend.
