Many members of the Fort Smith Historical Society partnered with the Fort Smith Muesum of History for a special Women’s Day event at the museum on March 29.
From the Fort Smith Museum of History’s Facebook page: “Celebrating Women’s History Month with a peek into the fashion pieces of the Museum’s collection. Exquisite styles dating back as early as the 1850s, through mid-century, were on display. Lots of conversations, close-up looks, and admiration made a wonderful afternoon.” Several members, including those pictured above, modeled clothing from the period. Other FSHS members helped with set-up for the event.
