Make plans to attend the Fort Smith Historical Society’s upcoming meeting on Tuesday, May 19.

The program will featured guest speaker Bobbie Woodard-Andrews. She will share her story about the processes she experienced in her journey to become a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. She will also showcase some of the documents she used in that process.

The meeting will take place in the Community Room at the Main Branch of the Fort Smith Public Library on Rogers Avenue. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and light snacks will be served. The program will begin at 6 p.m.

The meeting is open to Fort Smith Historical Society members and guests.
